5 Ways to Get Back on Track After Surgery for a Lumpectomy, Mastectomy, Reconstruction, etc.

Line up your binge-watch list and get ready for recovery mode because it's healing time and that means a whole lot of taking-it-easy! In the meantime, check out these 5 tips that has compiled so you can feel better soon.

1. Make a List

Everything is different but nothing has changed. Reflect and decide what matters most and what to tackle first.

2. Get Moving

Be kind to yourself. If your doc says it's okay, begin to get back into a healthy routine to rebuild the strength of your new body.

3. Talk About It

Support is out there. Join a survivor FB group, an in-real-life group, talk to a friend, co-worker, partner, parent...give it a good cry. You've been through a lot.

4. Find {and Use} the Resources

From vacation homes {} to career-boosting grants {}, do a search and find the things that you need. Help is out there. And you deserve it.

5. Pay it Forward

If/When you are ready, share your newfound wisdom with a freaked out cancer newbie and help to continue the sisterhood.
